A deeper, more generous take on Italian rosé. It’s made from Montepulciano grown at Fox Hill, our certified organic vineyard on the Talmage bench above the Russian River. We foot-stomped the grapes, let them sit on the skins for 36 hours, then pressed the wine into concrete to age for 8 months. It has more color and body than a typical rosé, with a little savory edge that makes it easy to pair with food, but it still drinks bright and fresh. The end result is a rosé for every season, not just summer.

FUN FACT: Montepulciano the grape has nothing to do with Montepulciano the town in Tuscany. The grape actually comes from Abruzzo, a region farther east.
