2024 Negroamaro

Our second bottling of Negroamaro, a wine that fits every season. It's traditionally a component in our Amore Rosso blend, added for aromatic lift and brightness, but this year's harvest stood out enough on its own to earn a separate bottling. We destemmed the fruit and left it on the skins for 10 days with daily pumpovers, then pressed 75% into neutral oak barrique and the rest into concrete. After fermentation, the wine aged in concrete for 8 months. 

FUN FACT: Negroamaro is a drought-resistant grape mostly found in Southern Italy and often is used as a blending grape.

Pairing Suggestions
Chill it down and pair it with anything topped on focaccia. We also love it with ratatouille - playing with the vegetables nicely.
