The Amore Rosso inspires conviviality and is our nod to delicious old school classic red table wine. This vintage is something to delight your palate and inspire pairings of all types. The blend is made up of mostly Barbera and Dolcetto co-fermented as both a red and rosato this year. We added a very small amount of Lagrein for some structure to make this blend really come together. It accentuates the varieties’ dark fruits, which work together with a pleasant tannin to cut through saucy, acid-driven dishes. The Barbera/Dolcetto red coferment was destemmed then gently pressed to age in neutral barrique. The rosato coferment was foot stomped as whole clusters and left on the skins for 5 days. It separately fermented and aged in stainless tank after a gentle press. This wine is best served with meals, including anything with hearty tomatoes. It is also enjoyable on its own.
