Orange Muscat shows off the best of Muscat without being overpowering. After a light footstomp and brief skin contact, we pressed it into stainless tank to ferment on native yeast and develop for 7 months. California is one of the few places Orange Muscat is grown, usually in a sweeter style, but we make ours dry and fresh. We first worked with Orange Muscat from Hartwick Vineyard in Lodi in 2022, and this year we added Chardonnay for more lift and acidity. Got Grapes is our yearly reminder to follow curiosity: our first release back in 2017 was a red blend of Valdiguié and Chenin Blanc, and we've used the label since to showcase blends and varietals that surprise us each vintage.
FUN FACT: Orange Muscat’s parents are Chasselas x Muscat Blanc á Petite Grain.
