This vintage pairs Tocai Friulano and Trebbiano to show off the fresher, livelier side of an Italian-inspired skin contact wine. Both grapes are hand-harvested from Fox Hill Vineyard at the start of September. The Trebbiano was destemmed and left on the skins to ferment naturally in an open-top stainless tank for five days, then pressed and aged in a mix of neutral oak barrels and Stockinger puncheons for eight months. The Tocai Friulano fermented on its skins in sandstone jarre for two weeks, then went back into jarre to age for eight months before the two were blended right before bottling. We fall more in love with what the sandstone jarre and Stockinger puncheons bring to the wine every year.

FUN FACT: Our first vintage of Amore Bianco was 2019 and it was 100% Tocai Fruilano.
