TASTING NOTES: Pear, White Peach, Ginger, White Grapefruit & Fennel Frond

THE STORY: This release of our Fox Hill Arneis is a true delight - an intriguing white with subtle aromatics and notes of pear and stone fruit on the palate. It’s incredibly food-friendly and easy to pair across a wide range of dishes. Arneis thrives at Fox Hill, our Mendocino County vineyard, where warm, sun-filled days echo the grape’s native home in Piedmont, Northern Italy. We harvested in September and kept the winemaking simple, allowing the fruit to take center stage. At the winery in Berkeley, the grapes were lightly foot-tread, then gently pressed to stainless steel, where the wine fermented naturally and aged for 10 months. Fresh and vibrant, with a bright, easygoing acidity, this Arneis pairs beautifully with delicate seafood, prosciutto, or citrus-driven salads.

FUN FACT: Arneis means “Little Rascal” in Piemontese.
