Old World influence meets California terroir. We typically tuck Sangiovese into our Amore Rosso blend, but this year we let it shine on its own. This is a mix of Sangiovese Piccolo (smaller berries) and Grosso (larger berries), grown at Fox Hill Vineyard in hilly, rocky soil that mirrors its Tuscan homeland. We harvested early to preserve acidity, fermented in stainless steel, then pressed and aged in neutral French oak barrique for nine months. Unfined and unfiltered.
