Produced by Chris Brockway in Berkeley from grapes picked in 2022 at organically farmed Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino. The wine is a blend of three grape varieties: 50% Ribolla Gialla, 45% Tocai Friulano, and 5% Trebbiano, all naturally fermented on native yeast and skins in sandstone jarres, then gently pressed and aged back in jarres for twelve months. After that year in jarres, it was racked into neutral oak barrique for another six months, then hand-bottled by Muggs, Egon, and Chris in early 2024 and aged another year in bottle. Only 540 bottles made.

Notes & Tones is a collaborative wine & album release between DJ Muggs, Egon of Now-Again Records and Chris Brockway of Broc Cellars.

Tasting Notes
Apricot, orange peel, chamomile, and tea-like tannins with bright acidity and layered texture.
Pairing Suggestions
Built for dishes with texture, spice, salt, or umami. Think grilled mushrooms, miso-glazed vegetables, tinned fish, and alpine cheeses.
