The Angelica is a very special, very limited dessert wine whose history goes back to the start of California winemaking. Angelica was traditionally made by Spanish missionaries who planted Mission grapes throughout the state. Ours come from Deaver Vineyard's 170-year-old vines, one of the oldest Mission plantings in California. The grapes were lightly fermented, fortified, and aged in barrel for over two years. Makes a great gift for a special occasion, or pour it year-round to cap off an evening with friends. Enjoy with a slight chill.

Tasting Notes
Caramelized figs, almond torte, baked apples, vanilla and bergamot.
Pairing Suggestions
After dinner, enjoy with all the desserts! Our favorite pairing yet has been with chocolate mouse or desserts that have a nice citrus element with it. You also can't go wrong with a cheese plate.
