A wild Cherry Plum Tree was found growing in between two 100-year old Doug Fir trees on the Fox Hill property this summer. Harvested in July  and in collaboration with June Taylor we preserved this special fruit. The cherry plum tree most likely sprouted life from a dropped seed and grew between two mighty trees. June Taylor made a soft and delicate cherry jam, accented with the kiss of rose, understanding fully the metaphors being presented to her; survival, femininity, blossoming and fruiting, collaboration, enhancing nature and not destroying. For June preserving fruit isn't simply putting fruit in a jar, and yet it is. So much is expressive of values and desires. Entirely Organic, hand harvested and hand made. Only 17 jars produced. 

This preserve has vibrant acidity and flavor that will pair with softer earthier cheeses. It’s delicious!
